Technion Society

The Technion Society of the Netherlands was founded on the 2nd of April 2008 in Rotterdam. This department of the Technion is the Dutch chapter of the world-wide "Friends of Technion" foundations. The Technion of the Netherlands is an organization that promotes education, science and technology by providing critical support to the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, ranked among the world's leading science and technology universities. This is accomplished by offering and investing in vital support to medical and technological innovation by the Technion and by organizing collaborations between Israeli and Dutch industries.

The Technion Society is also involved in conceptualizing, planning, organizing and executing business and academic 
events for the purpose of creating synergy between individuals from both countries, and from a variety of sectors. The purpose of such events is to promote the Technion and innovations from Israel.

Main activities of the Technion Society of the Netherlands (TSN):

  • Organization of visits for Dutch institutes and companies from the Netherlands to the Technion.
  • Initiating relationships between the Technion and the Dutch academia and industry.
  • Fund raising activities
